Precision Orthodontics & Pediatric Dentistry provides gentle dental care for children and orthodontics for patients of all ages. We prioritize creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere where our patients can relax while receiving quality care. Besides offering various orthodontic appliances, we also provide preventative dental services and cavity treatments for children.

Dr. Lan Tran – Orthodontist
Education
Dr. Lan Tran graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology (TJHSST). He completed his bachelor’s degree at the College of William and Mary. He went on to earn his doctorate from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) School of Dentistry and complete his orthodontics residency at the University of Detroit-Mercy Orthodontics.
Years of taking continuing education courses beyond dental school and residency training has allowed Dr. Tran to integrate current research with advanced technology to give you the best treatment options in a multidisciplinary environment.
Professional Affiliations
Dr. Lan is a Board Certified Orthodontist who maintains memberships with the American Association of Orthodontists, American Board of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association and Northern Virginia Orthodontic Study Club.
Outside the Practice
Dr. Lan loves to travel and learn about other cultures. He enjoys being involved in the community both local and abroad. His interests include trying new foods, dance, inspirational media, voice-over and acting.
He dedicates his time to MMOM USA an international medical group that provides free care to those underserved. We also volunteers with AALEAD, providing mentorship to high school Asian-American students, and AA Success, offering mentorship in providing life skills to Asian-American students for life after high school.
Dr. Yazan Aljohani
Dr. Yazan Aljohani AKA The Balloon Doctor is a pediatric dentist and a balloon artist. He developed a passion in balloon art as a dental student. He incorporotes balloon art in his approach to pediatric dentistry to help kids have a memorable experience. He’s never been to work without his balloons.
Dr. Yazan attended dental school in King Abdulaziz University, an accredited program by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA), from which he graduated with excellence. Dr. Yazan worked as a general dentist with a focus on pediatric dentistry for two years then he went on to complete a two-year pediatric dental residency training program at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine where he also received his Master of Dental Science (MDS).
Dr. Yazan holds two US patents, speaks three languages, published three dental research papers, runs an educational website for dental students, lectures on balloon art in dentistry, enjoys the outdoors, cooking, and cycling.
